Who Are We?

My name is Brittany and I am the main writer of Loud & Sticky. I am a twenty something working mom of two girls, who are referred to as Bean and Pea. I work as a Nurse Practitioner in Infectious Diseases and have no problem talking about things that make people blush. I have the best stories for parties and love what I do.

I am married to Nick, who used to care for our girls full time, but now works in health care administration. We have been married for the better part of my twenties and have many suburban adventures together. Maybe one day they will be adventures of wanderlust, but our bank account suggested otherwise.

Bean totally made us equal parts parent and crazy. She is a three year old ball of fire, laughter, and kindness. From the moment she arrived, she has done one hell of a job keeping us on our toes.

Our little Pea. She is a sweet one. Pea had the distinct honor of being born on the toilet, and we have since sworn that her life can only get better from there. While she has tried to challenge this decree, we haven’t made it back to hospital shitter status yet.
